About Barry Green

Barry and Trish Green

Barry Green

After retiring from New Zealand to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia – Barry took up watercolour painting in 2002 under the expert eye and guidance of the late Brian Allison.

A background of Architectural Draughting and building provided a natural foundation for this pursuit, however his passion to excel is tested continuously by the intricacies of this difficult medium.

As a regular traveler internationally, as well as throughout Australia, Barry’s paintings cover most subjects, reflecting the dramatic and varied landscapes and lifestyles of many of these countries.

Barry has been married to Trish for 38 years. He has 3 children from a prior marriage: Mike, Michelle & Cheryll. Trish has 2 children from a prior marriage: Leon & Kim. Together they have 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
